6 more weeks!!!

Only 6 more weeks until my due date!!!  Still keeping my fingers crossed that he comes a little sooner than that, but it's finally feeling like there's a light at the end of the tunnel!  I feel like I've been pregnant forever and I am ready to be finished!!!

Nothing too exciting this past week.  Mother Nature got confused and thought it was summer again so it was HOT and HUMID. Not a good thing for a mama who is 8 1/2 months pregnant!!!

Wednesday Eric had a dentist appointment.  No Cavities!!!  The hygienist took a picture of his bottom teeth (well, actually just the one tooth left) because she said she has never seen a kid lose all but the middle tooth!  He really does look like a jack o' lantern, poor kid :(  He takes it well though!

The boys have been super into riding their scooters lately.  Jacob got his for his birthday but was never very sturdy on it.  It seems like lately something just clicked and now he is flying around on it just like his big brother!  We have had lots of skinned knees in the house lately though since this has become the new favorite past time!

Over the weekend we took the boys to the bike trail in Pottstown to ride their scooters while Jim and I walked.  They loved being able to just ride without having to worry about turning around or watching for cars!  After that we went to Home Depot for their fire prevention day.  The boys each made a fire rescue airplane and got a free mini fire truck lego kit.

Jim hooked up his new loader bucket and the boys helped him play around in their dirt pile in the back yard!

As the weeks get closer to the baby coming I am trying to work on starting my Christmas shopping. We bought a couple things a few weeks ago when they were on sale.  I think we have a list completed for the boys (and the baby).  Planning a night to go shopping at the end of the month to do the shopping.  My goal is to have all the presents bought and wrapped before the baby comes.  One less thing to worry about once he's here!

How far along? 34 weeks

Maternity clothes? It was HOT this past weekend and my summer clothes are way too small…thankfully my fall stuff is good and the weather is supposed to cool off!

Sleep: Still pretty tired.  Trying to nap a little during the day and heading to bed early

Best moment this week: Spending time with our family!  Walking the bike trail while the boys rode their scooters.

Miss Anything?  Being comfortable!

Movement: Still the same, sometimes it’s harder to feel him….guessing because of whatever position he decides to be in.  Definitely running out of room!

Food cravings: nothing new

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing this week!

Labor Signs: few Braxton Hicks contractions each day, hips feel like they are stretching and it's not pleasant!!!

 Symptoms: sore, tired, uncomfortable, cranky!!!

Belly Button in or out? It’s mostly flat
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy, but getting more impatient and cranky!

Looking forward to: dinner next week with the Kolb girls!
