18 months

I can't believe this little boy is 18 months old already!

Some updates on Lucas....
  • He is still pretty quiet, but says "more", "ball", "again", "bye", "no", and tries to say some other words.  He is very good at letting you know what he needs without using words :)
  • He loves YOGURT!  Specifically the drinkable yogurts!  He would drink a whole case in a day if we let him.  We have to limit him to 3!
  • He loves to be outside.  If someone goes outside with out him, he will throw a full out kicking and screaming fit on the floor!
  • He is an awesome napper.   Most days he sleeps 2-3 hours, and still sleeps from 8pm - 7am at night!
  • He loves to talk on the phone.  He will page the house phones to make them ring, then pick it up and say "HELLO".
  • He still loves his pacifier, though we are trying to limit it to just naptime and bedtime.

Taking the Monkeys to the Zoo.......

We always try to plan some family fun on Mother's Day, so we chose to take our 3 little monkeys to the zoo this past Sunday.

Yes, Jim willingly took this picture with the giraffe!

It didn't matter how many pictures I took of the boys, at least one was always looking away!

The boys gave me cards they made at school and a beautiful hanging flower.  Jim also ordered this very special burlap pillow!  I love it!

Another great Mother's Day with my boys!!

Spring Catch up

We have been busy, busy, busy.  I can't believe we are already in the beginning of May!  Here's a quick recap of what we've been up to.

Celebrated Jacob's 6th Birthday!

Baseball has pretty much consumed our life!

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather!

Edged the flowerbeds with pavers

Trip to Rita's!

Made a costume for Eric for his presentation on Daniel Boone.

Eric and Jacob participated in an elementary track meet at the high school.

Started planting in the garden.  In so far are potatoes, green beans, snap peas and carrots.
We also have tomatoes and cucumbers started inside.

Only about 5 more weeks until Summer Vacation!!!
