Catch Up

Life has been crazy busy lately....though isn't it always?  Here's what's been going on in the McMillan household in the last couple of weeks.

We welcomed our new nephew Gabriel Ray into the family!

I celebrated my 31st birthday with our monthly Kolb Family Dinner.  We had clams and crab legs!

Jacob trying a clam...he liked it!

Then celebrated with the boys on my actual birthday.  Jim bought me an awesome new sewing machine!

The boys are enjoying the warmer weather!

Lucas has been super excited about all the "new-to-him" toys that we brought out of the attic!

The boys started helping around the house.....at their request!

Eric is doing a great job push mowing!

The boys put a new coat of paint on my outside bench!

We celebrated the end of baseball!  Both Eric and Jacob had a great season!

Lucas hanging out at the ball field!

This past weekend Eric and Jacob tried out the rock wall at East Coventry's Community Day.

Sunday we celebrated Father's Day.  Last month the boy's got their pictures taken at the firehouse as a surprise for Jim.  We pulled it off!  Not one of them ruined the surprise and Jim loved the pictures!

We spent Father's Day at Hopewell Furnace Historical Site.  The boys completed a Junior Ranger Program, where they had to complete a scavenger hunt and answer questions about the site.   Then they got their Junior Ranger badges.  We had a great afternoon.

This was a snake we found in the barn.  The Ranger told us he "worked" there.  His name is Horatio and he takes care of all the critters in the barn!  That's a HUGE snake!  We didn't want to get to know him!

Looking forward to our first week home from school and getting ready for our beach vacation next week!
