Advent Activities, Part 1

This year, in addition to the countdown calendars and Lego Advent calendars, we created a list of things to do together each day leading up to Christmas.  When the boys put their ornament on the advent tree each morning, they also have a card telling them what the activity for that day will be.

Day 1- Write a letter to Santa.

Day 2- Make an ornament for the Christmas Tree

Day 3- Read The Polar Express

Day 4- Watch Prep and Landing

Day 5-Read On This Special Night

Day 6- Watch Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

Day 7- Make Snowman Pizza for dinner

 Day 8- Make Snowman Soup...(Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate chips)

The boys have been excited to find out each day's activity.....stay tuned for more activity posts next week.

And on a completely unrelated topic.....  my wonderfully talented husband finished my shelves for the living room that I have been patiently waiting for!  I love them! All that's left to do is hang the TV on the wall....
